With a background in design, and having lived and worked in Norway,  Adam worked previously in an antique auction room, and joined TCS as a valuer, later becoming valuations Manager.

As such, he oversees all probate valuations and specialist dispatch of higher value items.

Quiet, considered, and diligent, he is both thorough and impartial, with a ‘best for client’ mindset.

He lives on the edge of the moors and can be found examining wristwatches and collecting vintage posters in his spare time.

As one of our newer team members, Alfie originally worked occasionally with TCS as a subcontractor alongside a family member.

He was asked to join the team in 2022, and already had a thorough knowledge of TCS’s practices and policies, and also the team.

Hard Working, and with a cheeky sense of humour, Alfie embraces the team, and enjoys increasing his skill-set.

He is often found looking for the elusive 1933 Penny!…

He lives with his partner and young son and can be found eating out whenever possible.

Alyson joined her husband Nick at TCS after hearing of the day to day variety in our office.

Prior to this, she managed a co-operative of farmers, dealing with bookkeeping, payroll, HR and all things administrative. She is office based and assists our valuation team and with all things client facing. A teacher by profession, she can certainly handle team TCS! She lives with Nick, kids, and dogs Harley and Mylo.

Andrew joined TCS during a period of rapid expansion around 2008, and brought his retail management skills to our office. As a partner, he is ‘back office’ based, and manages health and safety compliance, HR and many of the charitable events and donations which TCS are involved with.

Organised and methodical, his main role is client auction settlement and reconciliation, and he is ultimately responsible for the tidy office!

He lives in Torquay with his partner and dog, and loves watching most musicals.

One of our longest serving team members, Geoff joined our team in Jan 2012, and has seen many changes since.

Focused, and methodical, making him a valued member of our property inspection and auction team, based on site.

Geoff’s particular interests are mid-century furniture, and vinyl records.

Fond of travel, he can either be found in Portugal, or collecting or listening to music, live or recorded.

He lives in Torquay with his wife and cat.

With a background in credit control, Jo joined us in 2021 as an office administrator.

Responsible for client enquiries, preparation of valuations, billing and accounts reconciliation, Jo loves the day-to-day diversity of the office. She says that ‘no two days at TCS are the same…’

In her spare time, she lives with her partner and multiple snakes, spiders and reptiles, so loves the fact that her workplace is complete with a talking green Amazon parrot called Laurie…

First joining TCS as a work-experience student, Leon embraced the TCS family, and had a ‘summer job’ with us in his first year. After starting further education, Leon left to initially join TCS on a part time contract, and has worked full time ever since!

Focussed, and fiercely ambitious, Leon enjoys planning for the future and looking after his body and mind with daily visits to the gym.

He has a great sense of humour which he describes as ‘goofy’

Leon is one of our team drivers and lives with his partner, family and dog.

Lisa joined TCS from a jewellers in 2016 and was a valued full time team member until she ‘retired’ in 2021.

Young at heart, and full of life, she missed the hustle and bustle of the office, and now consults with TCS on a regular basis.

Her particular interests are gem-set jewellery and current market trends.

When she is not travelling in her camper van, she can be found at home with her husband, dogs, and close-knit family.

Luke started with TCS in 2012 as a site team member and is now our client Manager. As such, he meets new clients, mainly at their properties, and handles both our private and corporate client caseloads. He undertakes safeguarding work, and specialises in locating assets.

Our core ethos is ‘giving opportunity’ and Luke describes his journey with TCS as ‘coming out of his shell…’

He lives with his partner in Torquay and can be heard DJing or even singing in his spare time!

Nick joined TCS from an auction background, where he specialized in militaria, toys, comics, collectables and coins.

One of his first tasks with TCS was to identify, sort and dispatch a six-figure-sum toy collection to auction, so he certainly hit the ground running!

He is site team based, and has great attention to detail.

In his spare time he can be found collecting comics, and has appeared as an ‘extra’ in several films, including Warhorse…

He lives on the moors with his family and dogs.

Hardworking, focussed, and with TCS at his heart, Ricky is our day-to-day team and site manager. With a completely ‘hands on’ approach, Ricky leads by example and combines hard work with a great inbuilt sense of process and logistics.

Ricky joined TCS in 2015 following our purchase of his Dad’s business. From his first day, he embraced TCS’s ethos and grew from team member to supervisor, and then to Manager.

Ricky lives in Exeter with his partner and (now adult) children, despite not looking old enough! His son is a promising footballer and TCS proudly sponsor his son’s football team.

In his spare time he can be found attending football matches or baton twirling tournaments….

With a background in antiques, Simon co-founded the business in 1999, after a solicitor comment during a probate valuation that ‘no-one cleared houses properly…’

Today, he enjoys meeting new clients, developing existing working relationships, and valuing jewellery and coins.

His passion is developing the many charitable aspects of TCS’s work, and now lists ‘giving opportunity’ as the main business value.

Shy and retiring (!), he enjoys compering charity events, charity auctioneering, and even singing…

He lives in Torquay with his partner and dog, and enjoys gardening.

With a background in technology, Zach leads our Property Services team and oversees the management of a large portfolio of safeguarded properties across the South West. Combining innovative systems with a practical, hands-on approach, he is focused on delivering high standards of service, compliance and property care for private and corporate clients alike.
